Swimming

The past two weeks our mornings have been spent at the South County swimming pool for Tony's swimming lessons. I have to wonder if Tony really learned anything but he had a fabulous time playing in the water. He was already really good at putting his head under the water and blowing bubbles because he has been doing that in the bathtub and kiddie pool for some time now. Needless to say, he was certainly one of the best at putting his head under water to dive for the toy. However, the whole idea of moving your arms (making ice cream scoops) and legs in sync was totally uninteresting to Tony. He would rather just play games like Alligator and Motorboat. I was very proud of him and enjoyed watching him play and learn but my favorite part is the cute tan line on his back that he acquired in the process. He thinks he is cool because he has "brown" skin like the lifeguard at the pool.
